Shipping Details for This Product
This handcrafted sauna requires special appointment delivery due to its weight and packaging. It will be shipped on a wooden pallet with curbside delivery only, where the driver will lower the items to ground level. After order confirmation, we’ll contact you to discuss delivery logistics and any access challenges that could incur additional costs. Customers are responsible for unloading crates from the delivery truck, as carriers do not provide unloading services. For crates longer than 92 inches (7 feet), liftgate service is unavailable, requiring customers to arrange mechanical equipment (e.g., a forklift) or pick up at the local terminal. Ensure your delivery location can accommodate large commercial trucks (e.g., 18-wheelers). The carrier is not responsible for backing into driveways and will deliver only to the end of the driveway or curbside. If delivery fails due to access issues (e.g., narrow roads, weight limits, low-hanging trees), customers are liable for all associated costs, such as storage fees or rerouting charges, which we may add to your account. Promptly respond to the trucking company’s calls to schedule delivery to avoid storage fees at the local terminal.
Shipping Rate for This Product
- Flat Rate Freight: Free to the contiguous United States. Note: Remote or complex delivery areas may not qualify for this rate.
- Additional Fees: Surcharges may apply for remote areas or islands. Contact sales@thesaunarepublic.com for a freight quote if applicable.
- Post-Shipment Address Change Fee: $250.00 if the ship-to address is changed after the order leaves the factory.
- Tilt Tow Truck Service Fee: $750.00 if The Sauna Republic arranges a tilt tow truck for unloading (for Dundalk LeisureCraft products).
Order Confirmation and Shipping Timeline
Upon placing your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email verifying receipt and pre-authorization of your credit card. We’ll confirm stock availability with our supplier, Dundalk LeisureCraft. If in stock, the item will ship within 5 business days, and tracking information will be sent within 24 hours of shipment to the provided email. Cancellations (Before Shipment)
Cancel your order free of charge before it ships, except for custom or made-to-order products. Contact us at (888) 833-2305, via live chat, or email support@thesaunarepublic.com. Custom or made-to-order products cannot be canceled or refunded, as they are built specifically for you upon ordering. If unsure whether your order is custom or made-to-order, please reach out. All sales are final for custom and made-to-order products.
Returns and Refunds
Returns are accepted only if the shipment is damaged or the product is faulty, subject to approval by Dundalk LeisureCraft. Contact support@thesaunarepublic.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Securely package the item in its original packaging and include the RMA number, proof of purchase, and photos/documentation of the damage or fault. Returns may incur a 25% cancellation fee plus return shipping costs, depending on the manufacturer’s policy. Refunds are processed within 5 business days after the product is returned to the warehouse, inspected, and deemed damaged or faulty. We reserve the right to withhold refunds until the goods are received, inspected, and approved by the manufacturer.
Damaged or Faulty Shipments
Inspect your item upon arrival for visible damage (e.g., dents, punctures) and note it on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before the driver leaves, as failure to do so may prevent filing a freight claim. If damaged or faulty, contact support@thesaunarepublic.com to initiate a return and obtain an RMA number. Include the RMA number, proof of purchase, and photos/documentation of the damage or fault with your return.
