PRO Series III steam shower generators
ThermaSol sizes the PRO Series III on volume alone; its PRO Series III page states that "wall materials do not affect generator size." For a 9 ft ceiling, ThermaSol says to size up one model, and for a 10 ft ceiling to size up two or confirm the size with its team.
Each generator needs a 208 to 240 V single-phase supply on a dedicated breaker and can be installed up to 50 feet from the shower. ThermaSol lists a SteamVection kit and a stainless steel drain pan as included. On each product page, our configurator lets you choose the control, steam head and finish.
MS, MS Super and MAX steam shower generators
Mr. Steam's manual for its MS and MS Super generators adjusts the shower's volume before you choose a model: no change for ceramic or porcelain tile, plus 50 percent for natural stone, marble, shale, glass block or concrete, minus 40 percent for acrylic or fiberglass, and plus 15 percent for each foot of ceiling above 8 ft, up to 10 ft. Above the MS Super range the MAX series takes over, and we confirm MAX sizing with you before you order.
The generators run on 240 V single phase as standard, with 208 V and three phase on request, and the MS and MS Super manual allows up to 60 feet of insulated steam piping. A MAX installation needs at least two steam heads, and the MAX generator must not be hung on a wall. On each product page, our configurator lets you choose the start-up speed, control and steam head.
