Description: This clinical report evaluates the use of low-level laser as an adjunctive tool for liposculpture procedures, presenting the results from 700 cases.
Intervention: A 635-nm electric diode laser was applied to targeted body areas for 6 to 12 minutes, depending on the specific area, to liquefy fat. Fat extraction was performed immediately after laser treatment.
Methods: Clinical observation of aesthetic results, including silhouette contour, abdominal surface smoothness, and skin retraction. Postoperative recovery and complications were also monitored.
Conclusion: Low-level laser-assisted lipoplasty proved to be a valuable adjunctive tool for liposculpture, yielding excellent aesthetic results (improved silhouette, smooth abdominal surface, good skin retraction) in 95% of cases with rapid postoperative recovery and minimal complications.
