How Freight Delivery Works
Large items (saunas, cold plunges, hot tubs) ship via LTL freight. Smaller items (heaters, accessories, wellness devices, Lumaflex, red light towers) ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
1. We ship your order. Tracking is emailed to you with the estimated delivery timeline.
2. The carrier calls you. The freight company calls to schedule your delivery appointment. You pick the date and time window.
3. Curbside delivery. Delivery is to the curb via semi-truck with liftgate (when available). You'll need a plan to move it from the curb to its final location.
4. Sign and inspect. You must be present to sign. Inspect for damage before signing — note any issues on the delivery receipt.
Unloading Your Sauna
The driver delivers to the curb only. You are responsible for moving the product to its final location. Have equipment and help arranged before delivery day.
Rent a forklift — Most common choice. Requires forklift extensions. ~$150–300/day.
Hire a tilt tow truck — Flatbed tow with tilt/slide functionality. ~$200–400.
Hire a rigging/moving crew — Professional movers with equipment. Get quotes in advance.
Tilt tow service (Dundalk only) — Available for $750. Contact us to add to your order.
Clearlight saunas ship in flat panels, not pre-assembled crates. Most can be carried inside by two people without heavy equipment. Dundalk saunas ship in crates exceeding 92" and 800–1,600 lbs — liftgate service is not available for these shipments.
Damage Claims
If your order arrives damaged, we'll get you a replacement as quickly as possible.
1. Inspect packaging for visible damage before signing.
2. Note damage on the delivery receipt — write "damaged" and have the driver sign.
3. Take photos of packaging and product damage.
4. Email photos to info@thesaunarepublic.com with your order number within 24 hours.
5. We file the claim and ship your replacement.
Damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photos. Claims filed after 24 hours may not be eligible for a free replacement. Always note visible damage on the delivery receipt — even if it seems minor.

Once large items ship, we cannot change addresses or schedule specific delivery dates. If an item is returned due to an incorrect address, you're responsible for shipping costs both ways. 90-Day Trial — PEMF & Far Infrared Heating Mats and accessories.

Applies to all HealthyLine heating mats, wraps, bolsters, and covers.
Return must be initiated within 90 days of delivery.
Product may be opened and used, but must show only normal wear with minimal visible use. All accessories must be included.

Restocking Fee
No restocking fee for returns in normal condition within the 90-day window.

Defective Products
Contact Sauna Republic first — we coordinate the replacement with HealthyLine.
The defective unit must be received back before the replacement is issued.
If a product arrives damaged, defective, or non-working, replacement and shipping are covered at no cost. If damage is caused by improper use, the customer is responsible for the replacement and shipping.
Warranty
Most AC-powered mats and controllers carry a 5-Year Limited Warranty. Other products typically carry a 1-year warranty.

Dundalk Canadian Timber
All Sales Final — No Returns
All Dundalk products (saunas, cold plunges, accessories) are handcrafted to order in Ontario, Canada. Returns and refunds are not available. Full manufacturer warranty applies for defects.
Cancellation
Within 14 days of order — full refund, no fee.
After 14 days — $65 cancellation fee applies.
Once production begins — cannot be cancelled (typically 2+ weeks after order).
Backorder Cancellation
Orders containing backordered items are subject to a 6% cancellation fee as we are charged by our payment processor when backorders are cancelled. All lead times are estimates and subject to change.
HSA/FSA Purchases
Our standard return policy applies to all HSA/FSA purchases. Products with brand-specific exceptions follow those policies. There is no IRS requirement that HSA/FSA purchases be final sale.
HSA/FSA refunds are processed back to your original HSA/FSA card within 3–10 business days. Truemed cannot redirect refunds to a different payment method.
HSA holders: Notify your custodian to treat the original purchase as a "mistaken distribution" under IRS Notice 2004-50. Returned funds are not subject to income tax or penalties.
FSA holders: The refund goes back to your FSA plan via the original card. If your plan year has ended, the use-it-or-lose-it rule may apply. FSA holders should be especially sure of their purchase before buying.

What size CX generator do I need for my steam room?
The CX model number matches its room-volume rating in cubic feet. Measure length x width x height in feet, then match: CX0360 suits up to 360 cu ft, CX0500 up to 500, CX0600 up to 600, CX0800 up to 800, CX1000 up to 1,000, CX1250 to 1,250, CX1600 to 1,600, CX2000 to 2,000, CX2500 to 2,500, CX3000 to 3,000, and CX5000 to 5,000 cu ft. Tell us your dimensions and we'll confirm the model.
How do I size for wall material and ceiling height?
Start with length x width x height, then adjust for finishes and ceiling height, and add for long pipe runs — if the generator is more than 25 feet from the room, add 1 cubic foot of volume for each additional foot of pipe. Our team will run the full calculation with you so the output is right.
What voltage and phase does the CX use?
The CX is available in 208V, 240V, 480V, or 600V. Single-phase is available up to 10 kW; models 12.5 kW and above are three-phase only. We confirm the voltage and phase your building supplies before anything is built.
What comes in the CX package?
Each CX system is turnkey: the generator, the CX 7-inch touchscreen control, a Commercial SteamHead, the factory-installed AutoFlush system, and a condensation pan. Electrical, water, steam piping, and drain connections are completed on site by licensed contractors.
What is AutoFlush and why does it matter?
AutoFlush automatically purges old water and mineral sediment from the tank on a cycle, reducing scale buildup, extending generator life, and cutting maintenance — important for the hard water and high usage of commercial operation. It's factory-installed on every CX.
How far can the generator be from the steam room?
The CX installs up to 60 feet from the steam room, so it can live in a back-of-house equipment space. Longer pipe runs affect sizing, which we account for in the quote.
Can the CX run very large or multiple rooms?
Yes. A single CX delivers up to 50 kW (CX5000, up to 5,000 cu ft), and multiple units combine for larger installations — a 120 kW system uses four generators, managed together by multi-generator control. Tell us your rooms and we'll spec the configuration.
Is the CX listed and where is it made?
The CX is UL and cUL listed and is designed, engineered, and assembled in the USA.
What is the warranty?
Mr. Steam covers the CX/CT commercial series with a limited one-year warranty in the US and Canada against defects in materials and workmanship under normal commercial use. Full terms are on the Safety & Warranty tab and in the warranty document on the Resources tab.
Are these made to order? What are lead times?
Commercial generators are built to order. Lead time depends on the output and current production schedule. Request a quote and we'll confirm the current timeline for your configuration.
What clearance and access does it need?
MrSteam recommends a minimum of 24 inches of service clearance around the generator, and service access should meet NEC 110.26. Your installer will confirm the equipment-room layout meets code.
Can I add aromatherapy?
Yes. Aromatherapy oil injection and essential oils can be added to the system for a scented steam experience. Ask us to include it in your quote.
Is installation included?
Installation is completed by your licensed electrician and plumber to meet local code. We supply the turnkey system, confirm the specifications your contractors need, and coordinate the order. Ask us for rough-in guidance for your drawings.
Do you work with builders and contractors?
Yes. We provide spec-ready documentation, rough-in dimensions, and electrical requirements for trade projects, with one point of contact for your commercial steam package. Send us your specs and we'll quote it.
