This handcrafted sauna sanctuary requires special appointment delivery due to its weight and packaging. It will be shipped on a wooden pallet with curbside delivery only, where the driver will lower the items to ground level. After order confirmation, we’ll send you a text to discuss any delivery challenges that could affect costs. Our goal is to ensure a smooth delivery process.

Order Confirmation and Shipping Timeline

Upon placing your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email verifying we’ve received it and pre-authorized your credit card. We’ll contact our suppliers to confirm stock availability. If in stock, the item will ship within 5 business days, and tracking information will be sent within 24 hours of shipment to the email provided. Cancellations (Before Shipment)

You may cancel your order free of charge before it ships, except for custom or made-to-order products. Contact us at (888) 833-2305, via live chat, or email support@thesaunarepublic.com. Custom or made-to-order products cannot be canceled or refunded, as they are built specifically for you upon ordering. If unsure whether your order is custom or made-to-order, please reach out. All sales are final for custom and made-to-order products.

Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted only if the shipment is damaged or the product is faulty. Contact support@thesaunarepublic.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Securely package the item in its original packaging and include the RMA number, proof of purchase, and photos/documentation of the damage or fault. Due to rising LTL/freight costs, returns may incur a 25% cancellation fee plus return shipping costs, depending on the manufacturer. If replacing the product, we may offset some costs based on the item.

Refunds are processed within 5 business days after the product is returned to the warehouse and inspected. We reserve the right to withhold refunds or cancel payments until the goods are received, inspected, and deemed damaged or faulty.

Damaged or Faulty Shipments

Inspect your item’s packaging and product upon arrival. If damaged or faulty, contact support@thesaunarepublic.com to initiate a return and obtain an RMA number. Include the RMA number, proof of purchase, and photos/documentation of the damage or fault with your return.

Ergonomics – Barrel Sauna Comfort

Bathing comfort cannot be overlooked when investing in an outdoor sauna barrel. The diameter of the barrel and the bench/backrest configuration must be considered. Barrels with a small diameter may be priced lower (less materials), but the tradeoffs are door height, bench comfort, and headroom. Smaller diameter barrels have a tighter arc which can create seating posture challenges, impact standing upright, and require one to duck upon entry and exit. ERGO Series Sauna Barrels benefit from a 6'5" interior height. Due to its large diameter, benches can be ergonomically contoured and formfitting. The generous barrel arc can support an expansive and arched backrest for true lumbar support. Touch and feel were not ignored when selecting the knot-free, silky-smooth grade-A Thermo-Aspen seating material designed to hug most any body size.

"Thermo-Spruce" means that the wood was naturally treated with pressurized heat and steam so it can last up to 2 times longer than Cedar wood! Every SaunaLife barrel begins with industry-leading 1.65" thick full-length Thermo-Spruce staves for better durability and exceptional thermal resistance (R-value). This chemical-free, eco-friendly wood is dimensionally stable and ideal for outdoor saunas.

A watertight shingle kit (a must-have for an outdoor barrel sauna) with drip rails provides exceptional rainwater management and keeps bathers dry in any weather conditions. The E8G includes dual floor drains – one is conveniently placed under the sauna heater for your water-tossing pleasure and a second drain is positioned near the door, where cold plunge or pool water may collect.

Illuminating your barrel highlights the beauty of the wood and further enhances your sauna experience. SaunaLife provides an elegant dotless white LED lighting system that is Wi-Fi app-based that allows infinite adjustment. A hand-held remote control is also provided for on/off/dim operation.
