revive-2-person-traditional-sauna-luxury-plunge
Revive 2 Person Traditional Sauna & Luxury Plunge | Sauna and Cold Plunge Combo

Revive 2 Person Traditional Sauna & Luxury Plunge: A Complete Hot and Cold Setup

This Fire and Ice combo pairs two Revive units for hot-and-cold contrast sessions at home: the Revive 2 Person Traditional Sauna and the Revive Luxury Plunge, quoted and planned together. The sauna seats up to two people on two-tier benches, and its 3.5 kW Harvia Vega heater with sauna stones reaches up to 194°F. The Luxury Plunge is an all-in-one cold plunge with a 1 HP chiller built into its cabinet; Revive rates it to cool the water as low as 23°F, with an ice-making mode for a traditional ice bath. Revive designs both units for indoor or outdoor use, both run from a touchscreen control panel or a Wi-Fi app, and neither needs plumbing. Choose the plunge's decking in Tan, Grey or Black.

The Sauna: Revive 2 Person Traditional Sauna

Revive builds the sauna from thermo-treated hemlock for enhanced durability, stability and resistance to moisture, and finishes the exterior with natural tung oil, which Revive says protects the structure from rot and decay and gives it a warm, inviting feel. Insulated wall and roof panels improve thermal efficiency and help maintain a consistent temperature through each session, and you enter through a tempered glass door with a wood handle. The 3.5 kW Harvia Vega heater, model BC35E, heats the sauna to as high as 194°F, and the included bucket and ladle let you pour water over the stones to steam it up.

The touchscreen control panel beside the door sets your session at the sauna, and through the mobile app the sauna connects over Wi-Fi so you can control it remotely, customize your session settings, schedule start times and preheat it to minimize wait times. Adjustable LED lighting, which Revive's spec sheet describes as color-changing, high-quality Bluetooth speakers and reclined backrests complete the interior, and Revive includes a thermometer and hygrometer and an hourglass sand timer. The wall and roof panels arrive pre-assembled, and a roofing kit is included for outdoor installation.

The Cold Plunge: Revive Luxury Plunge

The Luxury Plunge's 1 HP chiller drives a cooling coil wrapped around a fully insulated stainless steel tub, a simple, proven cooling method that Revive says provides reliability and longevity, so there's no external chiller to place or connect. Revive rates it to cool the water as low as 23°F; its ice-making mode starts at 32°F, and Revive describes the plunge as capable of creating its own ice. The cooling system and water circulation run independently of each other for added reliability, and Revive describes its cooling as efficient and quiet. The Luxury Plunge is a dedicated cold plunge and does not heat the water.

Two-stage filtration pairs a cartridge filter with a washable metal mesh pre-filter, and a built-in ozone generator and UV light give the water dual-action sanitation between sessions. The tub sits inside a reinforced aluminum cabinet with EVA foam decking in Tan, Grey or Black, on six casters, and a matching step, a fitted tub cover, a full plunge cover and a starter kit are included; Revive recommends keeping the lid on whenever the plunge isn't in use. A touchscreen control panel on the cabinet and Wi-Fi app control run the plunge, and a color-changing LED tub light sets the mood for each session.

Planning Your Installation

Plan the space for both units together, with a short, clear path between them. The sauna's base measures 46.77" W × 39.76" D and its roof 61.81" W × 57.87" D, and it stands 81.66" high at the front and 78.39" at the rear, so check the height against your ceiling indoors. The Luxury Plunge measures 72" L × 30.8" W × 37.8" H, and its matching step 27.6" × 13.4" × 13.4" H; leave 24" of clearance in front of the plunge's cooling fan for ventilation. We confirm exact dimensions with your quote.

Each unit needs its own dedicated circuit. The sauna runs on a dedicated 240V, 20-amp circuit: it has a NEMA 6-20P plug on a power cord that reaches 100" from the control box, and Revive notes that final wiring must comply with your local electrical code. The plunge plugs into a dedicated 120V, 15-amp circuit with its own power cord, and Revive lists its draw at 560 W while the compressor runs and 20 W when the compressor is off. A licensed electrician can install both circuits, including a NEMA 6-20R receptacle for the sauna. Neither unit needs plumbing: fill the plunge from a garden hose, and drain it through the 3/4" NPT ball valve on the drain spout at the back left, or carry the water elsewhere with a garden hose on the included adaptor.

Set the sauna on a firm, level surface; Revive's spec sheet lists it at 230 lbs. The plunge weighs 360 lbs empty and about 1,277 lbs filled to the recommended 110 gallons (about 1,528 lbs at the 140-gallon maximum), so place it on a surface rated for that load plus the bather, on water-resistant flooring indoors, and have a balcony, deck, rooftop or upper floor checked by a qualified professional before you fill it. Two people can assemble the sauna in about 2 to 3 hours with its pre-assembled panels, and the plunge arrives as a complete, all-in-one unit with nothing to assemble.

Using the Sauna and Plunge Together

For hot-and-cold contrast sessions, keep robes and towels near the path between the two units. Revive recommends keeping the plunge's lid on whenever it isn't in use, for the best performance. Sauna heat and cold-water immersion both place stress on the body, so if you have a medical condition, take medication or are pregnant, consult your physician before use.

Revive backs the sauna with a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty on electrical components and on structural components, and the Luxury Plunge with a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty, each from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty claims are opened with Revive's support team, and as an authorized Revive dealer, we help you through the process.

Why Buy from Sauna Republic

Sauna Republic is an authorized Revive dealer — your purchase includes Revive's manufacturer warranties, 1 year on the sauna and 2 years on the Luxury Plunge, expert guidance from our wellness specialists on placement, electrical requirements, and delivery planning, complimentary shipping to the continental US, financing options, and possible HSA/FSA eligibility through Truemed.
